Ever wondered what this is? It’s called a QR Code or Quick Response Code.
You see these codes on a lot of Kaywa blogs.
By using a QR Code Reader on your mobile phone you can scan these QR Codes and bookmark the address of the mobile version of this blog.
Then when you are no longer in “working” but in “idle” mode, you can reopen yourKaywa Reader, go to your history and connect to the internet. The content you’ll see is strictly the same as on the PC/Mac web, but it will look much better and load much faster on mobile devices.

Money never sleeps and neither does time.
This month I’m focussing on the asset of TIME!
A very expensive commodity…and one we sometimes forget to measure.
Woweeee it was thanksgiving last week. I know it is generally the Americans who celebrate but I like the fact they take time out to be ‘thankful’. Why not?! What are you most grateful for this year? This fest also signifies the arrival of the Christmas build up!
I am looking forward to Christmas in the sun with the inlaws and it’s our daughters first one too!

She is already 8 months old!! Where is time going?
I met an interesting, nice business man from Bath on train from Paddington, London earlier this year who said that once you have kids there is a marker in the sand and your life becomes signposted by their ages and events. It’s so true!
The older I get the faster time is going or is it just me? So I want to ensure that I am spending my time in the wisest way possible. My biggest challenge is I love what I do. So time slips past and some days I don’t get to the pool or the beach and it’s only when I’m driving I see the palm trees and go ‘Wowee I haven’t looked at the sky today!!‘ Its crazy, so I am daily taking time out to see the sunrise or sunset and stare at the sky for a bit. Try it!
This is a great month to reflect on what you have, and most importantly WHO you want to spend your time with (always a big decision for New Year too!) Once you have ‘the money thing’ sorted – it comes down to how you invest your time, your love and your spirit.
So my questions to you are:
Enjoy the holiday season, count your blessings, be HAPPY!
To your health, wealth and success

Dare to Enter the Uncomfortable Zone….
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.
Seneca
When I began this journey to wealth I had to change my thinking, I had to face my fears and go way outside my comfort zone at the time. After reading various books on wealth building I decided to take action. I started planning my exits from corporate life and my comfortable salary! Looking back now I don’t know why I waited so long. However if I think back to my emotions at the time I remember discussing with other entrepreneurs that pain of leaving a secure salary and going into the unknown.
In my mind back then, the gap between myself and where I was, to jumping across the void to self-employment was so absolutely enormous. It took me quite a few months, lots of research and talking to other entrepreneurs to find the courage to jump. My other half had already started in our new consultancy a couple of months before I quit, but had not brought any income in yet. So apart from my savings, there was no guaranteed income at this point. Plus I had just bought my first buy to let property and received a £5,000 bill for works!! I didn’t sleep for a few nights I can tell you…in fact that bill came in the day after I had handed my notice in! So there were definately some feelings of doubt about what I was undertaking.
Luckily some income did start to trickle in, my partner started to bring in good cash flow. So we could breathe a sigh of relief for a short while until the next deal?! The down side of being self-employed, is the constant pressure to perform and create a salary. This was standard in the business model we were using which was consultancy; with no tangible products per se. So even though we were self-employed we were still exchanging time for money until we started investing in property.
So essentially, I have broken through a huge comfort zone in order to start my business without a day job. The next area that would extend my comfort zone was investing. Unfortunately, I did not do so well in the stock market which pushed me even further into investing in property. Once we started investing in property, and we could see the returns after initial work and lots of research, we trusted we could make better decisions and take greater risks, including investing 4000 miles away!
Again, we pushed way beyond our zone at that time! Property can be incredibly risky if you do not know what you’re doing and I have made hundreds of mistakes, trust me! I tried to think how much I have lost my investing. However one of my mentors told me, ‘Amanda, as always a cost of doing business, get used to it.!’ The same mentor taught me to minimise risks, weigh up your options and ensure the Return on Investment (ROI) is always clear before making a final decision and parting with cash. I remembered his words as I sent 40,000 pounds cash to America to invest in the customer service representative on the phone asked me again ‘once I press this button maam the will be sent and I would not be able to recall it. Are you sure you want to proceed?’ I can tell you, that particular moment was very far outside of my comfort zone! So far, it has paid off although there have also been some minor setbacks.
If you read any of the biographies of the big wealthy guys and girls, you will notice they all have healthy to choose to risk, calculated risk and enjoy a pushing themselves outside of their comfort zone on a regular basis. In order to achieve the wealth and success they desire they have to learn new skills, think differently and take action. They face the fear and ‘do it anyway’. So how can you use their success to move you forward?
Fear is a factor that prevents many of us from becoming financially independent. It could be that you are scared of becoming rich, or that you don’t want to lose, money or that you’re just not sure how to make more wealth on a larger scale. Whatever is holding you back, face it head on and make a decision today that, whatever happens you deserve to have more and that you are going to learn more about how to do it! Not only that, you need to make a commitment to yourself to EXPAND that comfort zone. The more you push the envelope, the more likely you are to be rewarded.
Not only that, remember a time that you DID go way outside of your zone…
How good did it feel afterwards??!!
Remember that feeling!
So read this quote to motivate you to action, plus the usual questions to ensure you move forward…today!
Nobody ever died of discomfort, yet living in the name of comfort has killed more ideas, more opportunities, more actions, and more growth than everything else combined. Comfort kills!
T. Harv Eker
* Commit to yourself 100% to do at least ONE thing outside your comfort zone to do with money and wealth this month….and then KEEP ON GOING!!
* What fears are holding you back from learning more about taking risks and investing?
* Who else do you know who you can talk to about breaking through their comfort zone and achieving what they wanted? Can they mentor you?
* What one thing could you face and breakthrough regarding your greatest fear of being wealthy…DECIDE to blaze through it now!
Have a fantastic month!
To your health, wealth and success

Rule 2: The world doesn’t care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won’t be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it’s not your parents’ fault, so don’t whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren’t as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent’s generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they’ll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn’t bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don’t get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one.

What’s Up with Twitter.com?
It’s a good question and Today Twitter is very busy…
When I started to Tweet about 18 months ago Twitter make sense to me and was a good boost for traffic to my various websites & Blogs then a lot of fake accounts open up and started to Spam the world including me. Then a lot of people pretended to have the answer on how to get a lot of followers via paying for it and also other schemes like follow everyone and hope to get 1000 followers this way!
I have tried many free strategies (because I don’t believe in paying for it yet!) I have focussed on making it as Organics as possible – so today its time to analyse my results.
Click bellow:
http://twitter.com/amandasteadman
| 1,237following | 1,365followers | 12listed |
Twitter is so busy now, it is very difficult to make an impact! But you also need to understand Twitter to really analyse your & my results! Every Twit is refresh every 30 seconds it’s the way Twitter is set to be able to have fresh content & info’s but when you start to have a lot of followers in your network; The problems is – will they see your twit? For best results always try creating an Impact as “content is King”…
I have 1,365 followers not too bad but I am far behind big players anyway! At least it’s pretty Organics (as Organics Twitter can be!) I mean I am pretty good with my Twitter because people interact with me and mention my name, re-twit me, message me and there is not to much Spam so far…
I have tried few platforms like Seesmics, cotweet.com and others (please see them below with my comments in Italic)
Tumblr by Tumblr, Inc. The easiest way to blog.
I like Tumblr; they have change few things and I need to update my profile on it!
HootSuite by HootSuite The professional Twitter client. Monitor keywords, manage multiple Twitter profiles, schedule tweets, and measure your success.
I have use it a lots but not much now as I am mostly using https://cotweet.com/
A Ning Network by Ning, Inc. Ning lets you join and create social networks for your interests and passions.
I am on it from time to time but it’s mostly a widget for your site.
TwitBird iPhone by NibiruTech LTD TwitBird is a fast, flexible, rich featured twitter client for iPhone and iPod touch
An Iphone Application I was using before Twitter Apps on my Iphone! I need to review
Nest Unclutterer by Unclutterer Nest Unclutterer allows you to keep your Twitter account tidy by creating rules to block “suspicious” accounts that are following you or remove followers that have become inactive.
Pretty good for house keeping your Twitter Accounts…
GeoChirp by Cue Blocks Technologies Pvt. Ltd. GeoChirp helps you search for people twittering for specific things in a specific area.
Very good, I think Geo Tagging is the best way to do it and grow organically your follower’s lists
Gist by Gist.com Allows Gist users to post news items about their contacts to their Twitter stream.
Best tool for knowing what is happening on your network without wasting your time too much online
Klout Lists by Klout Klout finds the most influential people on every topic.
Very good to use with https://cotweet.com/
LinkedIn by LinkedIn LinkedIn Status
Great to use in connection with Twitter…
Naymz by Viable Ventures, LLC RPX Login for Naymz
Good tool to have depending on your network used…
Google by Google Inc Google/Twitter integration.
Again good tool to have depending on your network used…
FriendFeed by FriendFeed FriendFeed enables you to keep up-to-date on the web pages, photos, videos and music that your friends and family are sharing. It offers a unique way to discover and discuss information among friends.
Pretty good page like Gist!
CoTweet by CoTweet CoTweet powers your brand on Twitter. Engage multiple people in your organization to tweet through your brand’s Twitter account.
The best (for me anyway!)
Posterous by Posterous, Inc. Dead simple posting of photos, video, music, files and text of any kind via email. We autopost to Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and every major blog platform.
Very good for Blogs!
Twibes by Adam Loving Twibes lets you vote for your favorite tweeters, create groups, and manage your followers.
Very good for Group creation & integration with Twitter groups…
Tweetboard by 140WARE Tweetboard is the twitter-powered microforum.
My partners using it with www.FranckRobertOnline.com
alt=”Wefollow_bigger”>WeFollow by WeFollow
A user powered Twitter directory.
Twitter Yellow Page – a most do to start!
AudioBoo by Best Before Media, Ltd. Audio Recording to the cloud
Again very good for Audio Blogging
This is the platform I still use today and I am pretty happy with it!
Now I want to talk about “paying for your followers schemes” before finishing my article (with the help of Franck Robert (from www.FranckRobertOnline.com)
I read an article in the New York Time by Todd Woody whose talk about TweetUp who work like Google add word (like pay-per-click). He said TweetUp let you bid on key words to get your posts top ranking with the help of Klout platform (I do like Klout!)
The good thing about it is – it will also organise your post according to their popularity as measured by how often readers repost and click on links they contain via Klout. (I like that)
The Bad think about it is – It’s not because you paid for a services that mean it is relevant to the readers especially if big company paid lots of money for TweetUp to get best ranking! (I don’t like that) and I disagreed with services like Google add word & pay-per-click.
I think the concept is good but Google for example is too busy with unwanted answers that drive you away from what you really want so Twitter could become exactly like this…and Twitter is already very busy!
Also some irrelevant post for someone can be relevant to someone else so the best way is to use Twitter tool like Geo Tagging, Twitter Yellow Page & CoTweet to keep your Twitter account as clean as possible – I know it can be time-consuming but no one said Twitter is easy!

So what are the 5 things James Cameron did to contribute to the success of his latest venture?
No 1: Following his passion and vision – he’s been working on Avatar since the 1990’s – he was VERY CLEAR about what he wanted to say, how he wanted to say it and what it would look like when completed.
Q: Do you have a clear plan of action and goals set for next week/month/year/5 years? Can you visualise what you life will be like in 12 months?
No 2: He has built up his credibility as someone who delivers the goods; he is consistent in his quality. Titanic was his last film so when the word started to spread about his latest project, people took notice.
Q: If you asked your clients right now – would they be happy with the quality of services. Is there anything else you can do to be more consistent, raise quality or get testimonials? How else can you increase your credibility in the eyes of your clients, customers, colleagues and potential clients?
No 3: He had a significant Product Launch Cycle starting months ago! There has been excitement around this film with interviews, leaks in the plot, and special reports on the use of new 3D technology to name a few. The film had been released for 7 days when I got into the box office queue to get my tickets. It was a 350 seat cinema, I was there 90 minutes before and I got the last two tickets!! There was already a queue both sides of the cinema to get the best seats! The evening show was already sold out and the rest of the week had little availability. Perhaps it was the added bonus of the 3D element that was part of the excitement – not just the film. In any case it’s worked and it’s generated over $400 million at the box office so far. So I think it’s been a success so far?
Q: What products do you have that are planned that could use an injected blast of excitement and je ne sais quoi? Can you extend any of your product launch cycles to build up the promotion in the eyes of your potential clients!
No 4: The 3D Element – Ok I know we HAVE seen 3D before in the 80’s and a little in the 90’s. Nevertheless there appears to be a huge revival in Hollywood right now. All the cinemas have been charging a premium to ‘hire’ the special 3D glasses and attend the 3D showings. Where I went, it wasn’t the flimsy cardboard one’s with red and green lenses that I had had before – these were the Ray Bans of 3D glasses (well is was a French cinema – you need to be chic daarlin even in 3D). So this wasn’t just an ‘ordinary’ film it was 3D, special, different, more exciting and a ‘change’ from the normal routine films. This again added to box office and queuing children’s excitement!
Q: So are there any products or Work in Progress that you could re-examine and just add the ‘something’ that other people are not doing, or have started doing but not mastered yet? We all know Social Media is going to become (and is) starting to be a huge player in the new way to market and do business. Is there something there where you can be ‘different’ (without being gimmicky!)
No 5: Timing – Avatar was released just BEFORE Christmas when children and families and all ages would be free to attend the cinema without being at school, work etc. When it’s cold outside – Cinema is always a good option and plus it keeps the kids occupied! Due to the nature of the film his ‘audience/target market’ was wide and therefore the timing assisted him in maximising box office attendance, fuelling even more fantastic PR and very happy customers!
Q: Are there any promotions you can launch around a specific event (not your Aunty Dora’s Birthday) but Chinese New Year, Valentines Day/ In France it is a Saints Day most days so take your pick! Can you do a promotion that only lasts a short period of time to enhance customer’s decision making?
No 6: Message – James Cameron wanted to produce something extraordinary but with a strong message – We need to look after the planet, we need to redress what the world is doing and how we behave as human beings. Did you get an element of that message when you watched it? Everyone naturally has their interpretation and James is confident he has opened eyes and effected people emotionally – enough to get them to start thinking about how they could change the planet for the better – and still be profitable. Sounds idealistic I know – nonetheless it has struck a chord with the audiences of today and particularly the next generation.
Q: What is the message you want your customers to ‘get’ about you? Do you have a personal mission? How do you want them to see you, buy from you, and interact with you or your company? What legacy do you want to develop?
These are slightly more probing questions that may take you time to answer. It will be worth the investment!
